Stage 1 of the new $80 million Stewart Road mixed use retail and commercial development has commenced operation with landscape design approved. The new 4.5ha complex located in Currumbin on the Gold Coast includes half a dozen fast food outlets, a drive-through Shell service station and truck stop, Anytime Fitness and Indoor Rock climbing, Storage King and other light industrial uses.

The centre at the newly upgraded M1 north-bound / Stewart Road interchange is set within layered landscaped areas influenced by the Gold Coast’s natural environment.

Sargeant Planning has been instrumental in developing the landscape design and works packages. Director Boyd Sargeant said “We have designed and guided the delivery of this high-quality landscape outcome for the site and are pleased with securing final approvals for the first stage.”

Sargeant Planning’s environmental, planning, and architectural experts effectively take projects from concept through to construction.
