Sargeant Planning is designing what will be Australia’s largest residential and retirement community for seniors. The development is a similar concept to leading mega-master planned communities seen in Florida.
Located in the Whitsundays, the site is an ideal location, offering a water based lifestyle, warm tropical climate and access to the Great Barrier Reef.
Close to the Bruce Highway and the Whitsundays Airport, the community will have:
- up to 4000 dwellings
- a resort
- village commercial centre
- health precinct with private hospital
- twin 18 hole golf courses.
The client has engaged Sargeant Planning to develop both the master plan and individual components for this seniors community. The challenge for our town planning experts has been the delivery of a cohesive design which provides differentiation across the master planned community.
Sargeant Planning is also managing the approval and construction process for this significant project.
